TAIKOPROJECT combines drumming and dance in Luhrs Performance

TAIKOPROJECT took the stage at the Luhrs Performing Arts Center on Mar. 5, combining live music and dance.
The group was founded in Los Angeles in 2000 by Bryan Yamami and Masato Baba with the goal of creating an American style of taiko. Taiko is a traditional Japanese drumming art form that combines music and dance to create a distinct cultural performance.

APB hosts campus Game Show night

The CUB MPR was packed on Saturday for Game Show Night presented by the Activities Programming Board (APB). Snacks and refreshments were provided, along with several door prizes for participants. 
Students had the opportunity to play classic Game Shows like “Jeopardy!”, “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”, and “Name That Tune.” However, due to time constraints, organizers skipped “Family Feud” and raffled off the remaining prizes instead.
